Welcome to the website of the League of Minnesota Poets! Established in 1934 the League of Minnesota Poets is an affiliate of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies. The League of Minnesota Poets has five regional chapters located throughout the state of Minnesota. As an organization the League strives to …to make Minnesota poetry conscious, and conscious to its own poets. This mission is accomplished in a variety activities throughout the year, please check our calendar to see what’s coming up. The League hosts a Spring and Fall meeting each year for member chapters to meet and celebrate poetry. Poetry is also promoted through the annual publication, The Moccasin, open to member’s submissions.
