Friday, April 19, 2013
We have arranged with Crossings in Zumbrota so that, if you wish, you may attend their Poet-Artist Collaboration reception beginning at 6:30 PM on the evening of Friday, April 19th. Some of our member poets had their poetry chosen for this exhibit and everyone is welcome to attend. If you do, bear in mind that Zumbrota is about a 25 minute drive from Rochester. If you’re coming from the north you may want to stop in Zumbrota and wait to check into your hotel room in Rochester after the event. Zumbrota is a small town and has only a couple of restaurants... the Covered Bridge on Highway 52 and the Coffee Mill downtown. You will want to eat before the Crossings event, as it does run a little late into the evening. They provide limited appetizers and drinks at the event.
Crossings is located at 320 East Ave.in Zumbrota, just block uphill from Zumbrota’s main street. It’s easy to find.
